Poison Gas: Inter-War Era--Unexplained Images

Figure 1.--This is an obviously posed image, but we know virtually nothing about it. It seems to show two boys about to spray a girl. All we know for sure is that it was taken inn 1933. We at first thought the image was Italian because of the caps. They suggest sone sort of non-Scout youth organiaztion. But the image was listed by a British dealer and the homes in the background look British, suggting it is a British image. The suit could be British, but British boys more commonly wore single =-breasted school blazers or suit jackets. The ssiits here are not schoolwear.

We have found some images that seem to have some relationship to poison gas in the inter-War era, but we can not identify the country, and or explain the image. We are hoing that our readers mightb be abl o offer some insight to these image. Photographs provide indelible glimses of life in previous era. Unforntunately all we gave to do on for many of these images is the image itself without any additional information to fo on. Some old images have some information written on the back, most have nothing at all on the back.
