We notice a page in the Sears 1938 Summer catalog. It includes outfits for toddler boys (sizes 1-3 years) and younger boys (2-6 years). Thus there are outfits only for toddlers as outfits for todlers and for youger boys up to 6 years of ages. There are both dressy and play styles. Boys this age can wear play styles for dressy occasions. The age 6 styles carry the younger boys styls into kindegarten and 1st grade. There are many different styles done in button-on styles. They are all blouses and short pants outfits. Some look like one piece outfits, but they are all two-pieve otfits. The button-on arrangement are visible in some of these illustrations. In others the buttons are cover over by self-belts. One of the outfits has suspenders. Thse are almost all short-sleeved blouses, but there are some sleeveless blouses. There are varying button arrangements. There is one sailor suit. There are varying sailor style elements used in several items. Fabrics are mentoned, but are difficult to read. Most are cotton outfits. Broadcloth was popular. We also npotice linnen. Blue, brown, amd white were popular colors. We also see green, red, rust, and yellow.
