It is a photo of Miss Grieser's 4th grade class of 1916-17 at Westwood School Elementary Shool in Cincinnati, Ohio. Many of the boys wear ties, although not jackets. We suspect that the photo was taken during the end of the school year whe the weather began to warm up. The photo contains a lot of fashionably dressed children. Check out the sizes of the bows on the heads of the girls on the far left. Put your cursor pn the images to see the names of the children written on the back of the card. The portrait was done as a cabinet card.

Also written on back is the year, teacher's name and grade number. Many of the boys wear ties, although not jackets.
