Little Lord Fauntleroy Suits: Unclear Usage

Figure 1.--All we know about this cabinet card is that it was taken in 1898. We see a liitle boy wearing a Fauntleroy suit and pulling a waggon at home.. He is standing by the family horse anbd buggy. The horse has a kind of decortive covering. We suspect that they are about to go to Church or some special event. There is writing on the back that we do not understand. Click on the image to see if you know what it means.

Just because family snapshots begin to appear around the turn-of the 20th century does not mean we can always figure out the circumstances involved. We often can, but not always. One problem is that the snapshot may be taken around the home before or after the actual event which of course then we do not know about. Even these images are, howver, worth loading. While we may not be able to figure out the ciciumstamnce, that does not mean that readers may not have some valuable insights.
