King Family Kids: Less Formal Outfits

Figure 1.--The King Family incuded the kids in their programming. It was a charming part of their progrmas and holiday specials. The children were usually dressed formally with the boys weaig suits and the girls formal dresses, often coordinated. But we see some of the fashion trends. As time progressed we begin to see less foral outfits. Here we see a sweater rather than a suit/ It is undated, but was probably about 1969.

As time progressed we begin to see less foral outfits. Looking back the children remenbered all the different outfits they had. At the time in the 1960s of course it was still more common to dress in suits for special events, especially for Christmas.
