A Freeman's catalog offered a Ladybird jacquard shirt and "bibbed topped trousers" (bib-front shorts) for younger boys. We also have a school uniform catalog page with shows the English preferece for grey colored schoolwear.
A Freeman's catalog offered a Ladybird jacquard shirt which was "colour keyed" (coordinated with "bibbed topped trousers" (bib-front shorts) for younger boys. The shorts were elasticised at the back and had front button fastening.
