This school portrait looks to be a small rural school somewhere in Serbia. At at the time this was part of Yugoslavia. It looks like the photogrph was talen in the late-1950s or early-60s. The children where their own clothes. There were no uniforms. There were about 20 children of various ages. A well dressed teacher is pictured wih them. He had to teach ll the differnt grades. The building behind them is presumably the school. It seems rather large for such a small group. The girls wear dresses. The boys wear a variety of outfits, mostly with short pants. There is informatoon on the back whuich probalybtells us the location of the svhool, but we are unable to read it.
