We no lonnger see boys age 10 years waring the classic Fauntleroy cut-away jackets. What we do see with the older boys is awide range of Fauntleroy elements like large collars and floppy bows. Many were large but fairly basic paliain or reuffled collars, but some were elaborate, fancy blouses. Boys at age 10 years and even older boys might wear a basic Fauntleroy blouse, but we see only a few boys at this age wearing the really fancy ones. Blouses with wide collars and a little ruffled trim were fairly common. We see boys wearing them with and without jackets. Here there was a seasional factor. The really fancy blouses with real lace both at the collar and down the front and at the wrists were not very common for 10 year olds. We see a few examples, but not very many. Boys wore standard lapel jackets. When worn open, they look rather like the cut-away jackets. We also see the fancy blouses worn with collar buttoning suits.
